I genuinely couldn't untangle this one. I don't like him because he comes across as a grifter who just says things I mostly agree with, but I also know the fascists hate him and would invent shit to get him cancelled.

The fascists hate him because he encourages activism, whether or not he's doing it for money, it does work and gets people charged up, and I'm fine with that. He's been out in the street getting in trouble and that's far more than most people are doing. if it sets an example for a horde of broccoli-haired boys to take up signs and march, I don't care if he has a huge house to go home to.

I don't like his content but I really respect his position in the ecosystem, which is essentially an off-ramp for otherwise right wing podcast bros who only respond to dunking-as-rhetoric Andrew Tate types
