Great idea for the fire pit! For a simple, luggable setup, here are two thoughts:
Projector: Skip the pricey portable models. A standard 1080p projector from Epson or BenQ with good brightness (3,000+ lumens) on your cart will be perfect and more cost-effective.
Screen: A tripod screen with a tensioned matte white surface is ideal. It stays flat, sets up fast, and gives a much sharper image than a wall or sheet.
I've heard good things about VIVIDSTORM screens for picture quality, so they might be worth checking out for research, though I'm not sure about their tripod options specifically. The key for you is finding a sturdy, well-reviewed tripod screen that fits your size needs. Have fun with the movies!
