I feel like people have the impression that pop music and music performed by women are "for" teenage girls and as we all know it's cool and masculine to hate whatever teenage girls like. ~~I know this is kinda selfish but I almost like that this is the case because it means when talking about pop music online with people who also do I mostly don't have to interact with straight men and when I do they're usually not so cringe.~~

No because I convinced myself I didn't like them anyway.

How are your music tastes now?

Mostly pop and some hyperpop-y stuff (I mean this in a fairly broad sense because idc about hyperspecific labels), a significant majority with female vocals.

Any recommendations on music that feels different on a revisit?

Idk if it actually feels different if you didn't have weird hangups about certain kinds of music before, but I think Lady Gaga's earlier stuff has held up really well
