I wish a lot of the other subreddits staying dark had a plan like this too.
The other subs dont want to bother with the hassle of moving. They just want a "show of force" without actually having backup plans. Piracy subreddit is dying, the other subs can choose to stay, but we have no choice, we had to move.
Paraphrasing Louis Rossmann, they're taking a weekend break from their abusive partner hoping it will teach them a lesson.
For piracy, it's pure unshackling. It's great!
Yep, a lot of them are just missing the opportunity
