SUVs are popular because they have emissions exemptions.. Car makers, you don't have to push this garbage anymore with electrics. Just let it go, man.
That's ridiculous. SUVs are popular for multiple reasons.
Yeah, I live in a place with snow on the ground 5 months of the year and something like a hatchback literally won't work. I had a rental Nissan Kicks (hatchback) while my car was in the shop and it literally got stuck multiple times. It was hopeless when there were more than 2 inches of snow on the ground, couldn't even get up my not sloped driveway.
