People didn't play Mask of Eternity when it was new. There's a reason why there was no King's Quest 9.
Yeah partially from it not being very successful by not being a great game, but also point and click was on its way out as a popular genre. It's still one of my favorite genres and it makes me sad, but it wasn't very flashy in comparison to genres like fps. I still play a lot of the old Sierra and LucasArts games when I'm feeling nostalgic, so knowing Wine has me covered will always be greatly appreciated.
