I've got this gold bar from the lucky coin and can't find any info on it from wiki or the internet. Do we know if it has any uses or is it safe to sell?

AFAIK, Gold and silver bars are just for selling/profit. There is only one crafting recipe that requires a single silver bar (some mirror).
