I'll argue that this is the best version of Batman ever.

They took the best pieces from all the decades and mixed them to perfection.

And no other actor besides Hamill could have done 'Joker fish.'

The series was also the introduction of Harley Quinn, who at this point is an iconic character no matter how they've handled her since.

Though I have to give Brave and the Bold props. I think it at least stands beside BTAS as being a well written show that understands the character of Batman, though BatB draws much more heavily on the Silver Age style.

I hated B&B at first, then I watched a few episodes and got into the silliness.

And "Gotham" live action TV show deserves a lot of applause. I think it's much better than "Penguin."

Agreed, I was never into Batman stuff, with the sole exception being this show. It had a great style

If you haven't read it, look up 'The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.'

Great novel about two comic book creators from the 1940s until the 1960s.
