What counts as "experienced"? Because I'm capable of installing a custom ROM

On another article I read, according to Google:

Anyone who's not gullible enough to turn off multiple protections, by following directions of someone scamming you.

I turn off multiple protections because they dont protect me, they are not protwctions they are artificial technical barriers to the freedom of the user

Installing a custom ROM is rookie numbers. Removing a faulty wallpaper through TWRP (sRGB palette was not supported on Android 9 or something), THIS is the real skill xD

ZOOM!! Watch out for low-flying obtuseness...

Thanks for the warning lol

I have family members who can't change their phone wallpaper through the GUI. Your standards are far too high!

[-] LemUrun@pawb.social 0 points 1 week ago

Not far too high. I tested the Android bug, SystemUI began crashing like crazy, but thankfully I already read what to do. Normal users would just avoid this situation.

You're not wrong and you even kind of support my point. The barrier must be pretty low, equal to the difficulty of installing a ROM
