I think that is the experience for anyone who doesn't present as a gender conforming man who is conventionally attractive though usually when men do it towards me as a very femme presenting woman, it comes with some awful behaviour.
true, just got a kilt and started wearing it. first time I'm my life I get anyone giving me a compliment, from either gender.
