Late to this post, but I recently cut off Spotify and Qobuz is the best alternative I've found so far between itself, Tidal, and Apple Music, in case anyone is wondering "well what do I use?" Good audio quality, a bit cheaper, and none of the Spotify bloat of AI DJs or that awful UI that splits your screen into two panels when you just want to scroll through your albums. The UI/website are a bit clunky and outdated, but it's great if you just want a direct interface to listen to music and it doesn't seem to support awful people in the way Tidal/Apple/Spotify would.

Not sure of any good alternatives besides these if anyone has a better recommendation, but I'm happy with this so far. It also comes with free access to Soundiiz to transfer all your saved albums and playlists over immediately.

Of course you could also just get all music for free and support the bands you like through merch/records.

It was tough to cut off Spotify after using them for so long, and I do miss the daily mixes/discovers, but I can just find new music through my lastfm friends or find other means that are more in my control. It's a little more work but it's worth it to switch off Spotify imo, whatever you switch to.
