The California governor acknowledged in an interview Sunday on CBS that he would give the question serious thought after the 2026 elections.

And if he does run, and if he does become the Democrat candidate, Democrats will accuse us of trying to get the Republican elected when we point out his transphobic comments and that he helped destroy homeless encampments.

And they will be completely fucking right with how utterly shortsighted that particular firing of the footgun would be.

Hes a generic white man in a party that will always try to shoot off the legs of progressives.

Until there is a progressive on the federal level with the charisma and fast thinking of Mamdani, this is the safe bet to stop marginalized people from being disappeared of the streets and tortured, sterilized, deported or killed, and stop the insane levels of corruption back down to the somehow now quaint Nancy Pelosi levels of corruption.

You people are literally hurting people who did not sign up to be hurt. Why do you think your idealistic purity politics matter more than other people's lives???

Its God damn insane, immoral and at best naive.

Liberals in general don't give a fuck about who's getting hurt, their concern lies in who's doing the hurting. Marginalized communities remain marginalized regardless of who's in office, their material conditions do not improve and often get worse. Your party supports marginalized communities as far as using them as background filler while the old white people speak for them, and when they try to speak for themselves they are silenced with shouts of 'Im speaking.'

Liberals in general don't give a fuck about who's getting hurt, their concern lies in who's doing the hurting.

Heres the thing about the chronically online "leftist" viewpoints.

They all seem to come from a place of feeling superior while doing nothing or worse.

What are the actions of these people you hate, Im assuming to mean pragmatical leftists and liberals both of whom don't want hitler 2.0: Electric Bugaloo?

They tried to support it not happening and are now the ones actually doing anything whatsoever. They are the senators, mayors, running obstruction and to a lesser extent people out protesting.

Instead, you're there focusing on criticizing, not the people doing the harm, but the people trying to stop it, for not perfectly aligning with you policy wise before in the election where you tacitly voted for the horrendous shit happening right now.

Marginalized communities remain marginalized regardless of who's in office

Guess what? You can't get your magic one day revolution. Changing the status of people takes a really long fucking time in such a system. Those are the facts of the system. You can sit it out and pout that it magically doesnt happen, or realize the system is what it is, and then do something within it or about it, rather than waxing lyrical about it online, dumping on the people who do.

The fact is, when the democrats, a center to center right party do not have a senate majority, there is very little they can do that isnt purse control, but you know what happens when they're in power? Marginalized people do better, and see better outcomes and lives.

Expecting a whole new world is just naivety

Your party supports marginalized communities as far as using them as background filler while the old white people speak for them

Ah yes, all the outspoken POC people in the democrat party are secretly white people, and the 85% or higher number of black people voting for them have no voices.

Your entire attitude is just one that does not care about marginalized people past using them as ammunition for the people closest in political goals to you.

Some people have the same political goals to you and you still rant about them because they aren't being idealistic do nothings.
