Apparently, Rocket League and Fall Guys are being ported to Fortnite. Both games currently work on Linux, but in the future, they may require playing through Fortnite (lemmy.ml)

same thing happened to me for TF2: the game became free, but the game as released was no longer available... I'm looking forward to TF2 classic mod release. Apparently can already play it with the source sdk, but I haven't found time to try that yet 😅

Maybe people will do something similar for rocket league... 🤞
