Apparently, Rocket League and Fall Guys are being ported to Fortnite. Both games currently work on Linux, but in the future, they may require playing through Fortnite (lemmy.ml)

It's a wish list of what companies hope they can enforce. In the EU Windows licenses are transferable, for example.

One day a judge can say you actually paid for a Game.
