Why don't Americans impeach Trump? (lemmy.org)

I'm from Korea, and we impeached our president last year, mostly because he declared martial law, but he was also a terrible president, and no one really liked him being there, even his own party.

Why can't the U.S do the same, if Donald Trump is so bad? Why are some Americans even supporting him?

Because it requires political cooperation. And in a society at polarised as theirs there is no chance of that happening with his cult of personality.

That's not really it, it's more that the system is designed to keep those the capitalist class wants in power in power.
