I am definitely way too condescending to people, but your post comes off like instructing others that being in that situation is okay. Shoplifting varies widely in risk depending how insane everyone involved is. Years ago I would take enough food to eat, that's not me trying to show off my elite skills. I think the frequency of shoplifting required to survive calls for one billion percent more effort and fastidiousness. You gotta buy a seltzer on the way out!!!

Well to be even more thorough you want to have a cart and buy some cheap stuff that looks bulky etc etc you know. Yeah that's the only kind of shoplifting people should be doing around insane murderers?
