I was able to sign in through the sync app on Android. It loaded up pretty well and I placed some stuff last night. Never had to download an app. What are you using that made you need another one?
I loaded it up on google chrome on android.....not sure why you would need another app?
I'm thinking they might have just misclicked something. Only part I needed to go out of my app was when it sent my lemmy account that 6 digit code. Had to use another lemmy app to view that message to sign in on my main app.
