MODERATORS
I don't contribute to the fandom and probably won't, I have no fursona (probably will want a character, like in RPG), no fursuit, but yes. I want to be a furry, not 100% a furry, but still.
There's no "scale" of how legit someone is at being a furry. If nothing else the furry community is so massive that no one could agree on a definition of a 100% furry even if they wanted to. Interacting with the community is also not required. Just be whatever you want to be and pick up the label if you like it.
I'm scared that I may just want to be a furry to belong to a community and not because I feel that way. It's idk
For me, it's like a hobby. Not anything deep, just a hobby and I like it that way. I enjoy furry art, I follow some furries (Azrafox, WybeeWolf, Anonymous Furry Artist, Pocari Roo) and that's all.
Even if that turns out to be the case, there's nothing wrong with that. It's a pretty good community to be a part of.
