I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for how you run your games on the net, or want to just share your setups (discord? foundry? some other niche tool?)
I use a mix of Discord and Foundry to run my table. I host Foundry in AWS, voice comms in Discord, and a mix of a discord bot and instance-hosted media for music ( I use the media hosted on the Foundry instance for specific moods, use the discord bot for more unprepared/random music ).
I use a mix of pre-made maps and hand-made maps depending on what my duders are up to and where I'm going to drive them next.
Unfortunately, I suffer from the problem that I always overdo it a little.
When we play over the net then mostly over Discord. I have created a bot which has a shopping system, karma system, banking system. And of course the basic function of dice rolling.
This is very high maintenance and I wouldn't recommend it :D
Mostly I split my screen to show the maps, I moved the chars with Affinity Photo, please don't judge me :D

I am still in the process of optimizing it a bit
That bot sounds sick! And like a lot of work haha
