um.. there is a lot of reading yes. Similar to Persona.

So sometimes I guess you have to be in the right mood. It feeds a lot of dialogue for sure.

I don't mind "reading" if it has voice acting. But looks like the series is only partially voice acted even in the remakes.

They also remade the "First Chapter" recently. And it seems to be very well done, so there is no reason to ever play the original (from what I can see).

I imagine they will do "Second Chapter" and so on, and those are probably all completely voice acted as well. So things should be okay on that front.

Could be something to move down the game log until the remasters get through the first few games.

It looks like the 1st Chapter remaster has great reviews.

Ah yes, I was about to say.

the PSP version has voice acting for the first few games (the ones without voice acting).

So someone created a mod and ported it over to the Steam version too, so that's what I use.

And quite frankly, I probably couldn't play the game without it, so it's a great mod and makes things so much more pleasant. So I don't mind the amount of reading anymore.
