that's right, but it's enabled by default, and as a result it will affect lots of users who did not think about this. that's the power of defaults.
What do you mean? In Obtainium you pick the source you want, it doesn't automatically choose anything
on my phone the vivo app store source is enabled by default in the search menu. compared to your screenshot, all but gitlab is been pre-selected. some of them may be how I set it up some time ago, but before I updated it a few days ago the vivo app store option was not there, and on friends phones I have seen it in the last months too that this source is enabled right after installing obtanium
