This is also why the Liberals will never abolish FPTP. The political center tends to gain the most out from FPTP, at the expense of democracy of course.
It’s not never the parties of other countries in the past have bowed down to enough pressure into passing PR through a majority. Putting their country first rather than party.
Fair enough, I guess I should've said they'll never abolish it willingly. Either way it'll only go away after mass popular action, not campaign promises handed down by politicians.
