Therapist suggested I speak to shrink about anxiety pills, I replied with "with everything going on, shouldn't I be anxious?"
A non-dehabilitating amount, sure.
Right of course, shut up and take the pills, remain calm, everything will be just fine.

If you have the means I suggest working on that.
Only hypertension inducing, nothing that more pills can't fix.
Anxiety is useful for when you need to react to something jumping out of the brush to kill you. Not so much for slow existential threats that take years to play out.
