That's fine. I was only curious because I'm a cowboy hat guy. I wouldn't like his for me because of that point at the front of the brim. I'm not necessarily what you think of when you think of cowboy but I look at it like baseball caps. Even if you're not a member of your favorite sports team no one calls anyone out for repping it. It's what you're comfortable and happy with.
Of course I'm biased because I work on my buddy's ranch in my spare time because I like riding horses, tossing hay, and hanging out. I grew up in a place where half the town wore one. It's good sun protection. One of the guys at the ranch because of that.
All of that said, I'm not trying to change your mind. Your opinion isn't hurting anyone and you're not lobbying to have people in cowboy hats declared mentally ill. And honestly I don't trust most of the people I know who wear them because there are a bunch of loud jackasses. I'm just here because I enjoy a good conversation where we can disagree and still walk away friendly. Because that shit is hard to do in today's world. I can't do that if someone says "Trans people should be locked up" or "I didn't let a ripped man who died on a cross come inside me to allow homosexuals to live". So I'm out here talking cowboy hats with someone who disagrees and enjoying it.
Hell man you're a really sweet person, and sorry I didn't respond earlier. Wanted to take the time to write this.
Let me first say, I'm what most people consider a weird person, and I wear weird stuff, and I get all sorts of comments and looks. I enjoy it even when it's hostile.
I appreciate people who are genuine, as opposed(and sorry for the lack of better term) posers. If you try to express your true self with a distinct style and look, and just trying to be outside what you feel inside you have my respect. God knows I don't see many such people.
Farm work sure sounds fun, and I bet you look natural in that hat. One of the lucky few that can pull it off.
