Screenshot of a Tumblr post by sonicguillotine:For the past few years any time there’s a public shooting, political or not, fascists immediately begin pushing a narrative that the shooter had some connection to the trans community, anarchist or communist politics, to migrant or Black communities. These are always tenuous claims but now with multiple racist lynchings following Kirk’s death, it’s time to recognize the danger of these kinds of mythmakings. They are calls to violence.
And the coroner confirmed no evidence of assault, so it's not just the police or school leadership. That makes it more credible to me, but I guess we'll see.
