[Silksong] Getting deja vu from the discussions around this game

A community for fans of Team Cherry's hit indie Metroidvania game Hollow Knight
I don't care if a game is hard. I care about if it's frustrating. And the most frustrating thing to me about the game is, that virtually everything deals double damage. This, to me, feels cheap. I don't dislike hard games. I got 112% + P5 in Hollow Knight, I got a 100% in Nine Sols... I really enjoyed the fight against
even though I died countless of times. So yeah, difficulty itself isn't the problem here.

And what I especially hate in Silksong are those attacks that deal 1 damage to you and stunlock you and then deal the 2. damage 3 seconds later.
... Just give me 2 damage immediately and not let me struggle in vain.
I think it would be fine, if you could somehow avoid the second hit. With a timed dash or counter or something. Instead you're just locked in place. Or maybe you can and I just haven't figured it out yet.
