Just wait until he discovers that the truck has a battery and can charge the phone with the engine turned off. It's gonna blow his mind.
I've got a feeling this guys mind is blown several times each day. Someone should show him how a magnet sticks to some things but not others.
Batteries are woke and communist.
Looks like an older Ford maybe? Can almost guarantee that truck has a 12v always-on ('hot') accessory socket somewhere, or an always-on USB socket. He wouldn't even need to have the key switched onto Accessory in the ignition to charge his phone via one of those sockets - let alone running the engine.
Edit: I forgot though. Reading the manual is for nerds.
But how can electricity if not burn fossil fuel??
