!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.
The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

Mankind, not just men.
In a greater context sure, but no, men are the reason.
Studies have shown numerous times that men with high dark triad scores are more successful in life. They do better in economy, they find partners easier and they are even more likely to reproduce. But who created the dark triad? Who created human nature? One thing is for sure - it wasn't men. You can blame nature or god (if you're religious). But that doesn't change anything about human nature. It won't make the dark triad go away nor people who benefit from it.
For every man who punches you in the face there is a woman who benefits from this man punching you in the face. That's the harsh truth.

It contributes to isolation of individuals which contributes to feelings of loneliness.
Yeah, there are psychopaths in the world, that’s not a male centric thing, it’s an always has and always will be thing, but it doesn’t account for every problem men inflict upon men and if they didn’t exist this issue would still be prevalent, you don’t have to be a fucking psychopath to fall victim to toxic masculinity and false expectations of media and society. Again, that’s an entirely different conversation.
You don't need to be a psychopath to show psychopathic behavior. You can still score high in a dark triad test without suffering from a personality disorder. Such people are usually called "asshole". It's not directly related to what people call "toxic masculinity" which is its own can of worms (because it also countains stoicism which contradicts beliefs/behavior associated with assholes).
You want to have a different conversation, go have it with someone else, this is all completely irrelevant to what I was saying.
