The US predictably taking another step towards nerfing the means of combating climate change.

While large scale solar projects will likely continue to be constructed regardless, we can collectively help out where the government won't. The 30% federal rooftop solar subsidy ceases at the end of this year, so if you've been putting off getting solar, now would be the best time to install some, or alternatively getting a permitless plug-n-play system, which also qualifies for the tax credit (or purchase used solar panels locally to hook up to the special inverter).

In addition to the solar tax credit, the other energy efficient home tax credits also cease at the end of the this year, which cover heat pumps, among other things.
