This is one of my complaints when it comes to certain people discussing grocery prices.
Like, in the USA, we know inflation is rampant despite official numbers saying it's just barely a teensy tiny issue. And I have no argument that it's gone insane, even compared to covid related inflation.
But if you're calling that your "grocery bill" when you've got a garden hose, brand new mixer, metal shelving, sewing machine, and oled tv in your cart ... we clearly don't see eye to eye on what the term "groceries" means.
