This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

It's not a communication problem, it's a money problem. The wealthy have an incentive to fund the right, not the left.
That's not the entire story, you even see it in the far left commenters here, they're notorious for writing an essay in response to a relatively short comment.
Money can be used to buy a lot of marketers, sloganeers, and focus testers. When you're trying to craft an effective way to deliver your message, it helps to be able to hire buildings full of professional spin doctors.
