Separate blankets are a must! My wife somehow rotates the blanket exactly 90° every night. I want no part in that.

me is exiled...
One sees the issue. The correct form, however:
Our dog and I are exiled...
~~Our dog and~~ I are exiled...
I am exiled...
Remains logical.
