Rosie has been regularly making videos (nearly daily) about the political situation in the US on TikTok
You're probably mixing her up in your mind with Roseanne. If you did, it's ok. Because that is who I thought this was about at first too.
But she’s MAGA though right?
Rosie? I don't believe so. Other posts saying she's been making videos critical of Trump, not that some MAGA aren't also stepping out of line sometimes. I personally had not heard her name mentioned in like 15 years before today.
I mean Roseanne Barr, which I suspect is who the deleted comment was referring to based on several replies including yours.
I thought Roseanne Barr tried to reboot her show from the 90s like 10 years ago, and it was controversial at the time for being considered right leaning.
Roseanne ran for president in 2016 for the green party I think or maybe her own independent party. When they were rebooting her show, she made a rant on Twitter about a black woman and called her a monkey. I think it was a politician, I can't recall who exactly. That's why they kicked her off the show. The rest of the cast went on to do it and they renamed it The Connnors.
Thanks, my memory of that isn’t so great. Like I don’t remember the monkey comment. But I thought there was something more to do with the actual plot and content of the show. Like there was some middle eastern family in the neighborhood and they made some jokes people found offensive. But I never actually watched the show so maybe I am thinking of something else. There was a similar bit on The Simpson’s, but that was 15 years earlier when they were even less likely to be called out on that sort of thing.
