I just started knitting my first pair of socks after 25 years of doing other projects. Super excited to make a pair of socks from a World War One pattern.
Nifty colored yarn, think "halloween colors" (magenta/purple, slime green, black, forest green, sparkly purple threads). Might be using the wrong size needles but eh, let's go for broke!
I love the attitude! The best kinds of projects are the ones when you go in knowing you're doing it wrong. Haha. What's meant by a WWI pattern. Was it a pattern used by the military for military socks?
