Non-commercial Ads (link in body)
(slrpnk.net)
Community for the appreciation and sharing of links, resources, and culture of: the smol web / small web / ~(w)~ / the indie web / or even the non-www internet (gemini, gopher, etc).
Back of a napkin definition, subject to change: if it's internet accessible and is maintained by a person, especially for non-commercial aims, then I would consider it smol. There are, however, much stricter definitions.
Anyone else remembers userbars? 🥹
Ohhh like fancy signature images at the bottom of your forum comments? Yeah, I remember those really really fondly. Actually, one of the forums I was on allowed some huge ones so you could really express yourself -- I'm talking like 600x80 or something.
Yeah, there were a couple of 'basically standarised' formats, you'd put them in your signature to show people cool stuff that you care about.
