Given that they (the creators) weren’t involved in any of the WotL changes and it doesn’t align with their overall vision of the game, I’m happy with the decisions they’re making. I don’t believe it will lessen or cheapen the story or game itself when there’s so much more going in to IC.

I can still play WotL if I want, and I’ll be keeping my pre-order in place for this, and I’m happy Europe gets a proper physical release (unlike the original).

I find this opinion funny because another opinion is that Vagrant Story was not originally intended to be part of the Ivalice collection, but many people defend it to be because a business decision was made later to retcon it as such.

I don't think either argument is right or wrong. Just think it's funny.
