I'd like to laugh, but when I was really new I probably would have asked the same question. I remember back in the day, it was fucking hard for me to even figure out how to work with torrents.

Tbh a lot of the torrenting terminology is quite metaphorical and doesn't make sense without understanding all the mechanics. Seeding? Leeching? Ports? Clients? And even the central concept - "torrent"?

Fully agree but :

  • how long does it take to look it up online. It surely takes longer to have an answer back
  • you could even ask any AI if looking it up seems too difficult
  • how can you not tell yourself it's no longer downloading, I am at 100%, I already waited a few minutes then probably it's doing something else must be safe to stop it and look if my file is OK

With "ai" answers, if you don't ask a question right you only got llm generated website.
