I thought softs were mandatory in Q3?
I think it's only mandatory in Sprint Qualy
Yeah fair enough, I checked sporting regulations afterwards and compound choice is only restricted in sprint quali.
Only sprint quali has the mandatory tires. Normal quali has free selection.
No, softs by choice in Q3, a fresh set just for Q3 that is turned in after the session. Q1, Q2, and optionally Q3 is the medium tyre; which I believe comes from the team’s 13 allocated dry weather tyres
