What Kernel are you guys using?

I have seen some people claiming that custom kernels like zen cachyos offer better battery life and performance.

Is it true ?

I'm on the CachyOS kernel but not for performance reasons.

Also the optimizations only give a positive effect on certain hardware configurations. They're not a universal cure.

but not for performance reasons.

Can you tell why you are using CachyOS kernel other than performance?

Ideological reasons.
