How sad it is to see the world as a Trump/Europe dichotomy.
Seriously, make this easier for yourself and just buy from anywhere that isn’t the USA or its golden child (Israel.)
I think it is fundamentally good to use this opportunity as a chance to break up existing monopolies (especially with regard to software products). Trump merely provides a motivation for this - with his impossible behavior, he has created some awareness for this long-standing problem.
But yes, since the problem stems in fact from multinational corporations, the country in which these corporations have their headquarters does not necessarily play the decisive role - it should rather be about no longer buying products from these unscrupulous corporations.
