U Turn Tips

Rules:
Be sure to maintain tension on the rear wheel. This is a combination of slipping the clutch and dragging the rear brake (this works well for low speed maneuvering as well. Turn your head and look where you want to go. Looking directly in front of you may cause you to fall. You can also lean forward to help maintain stability.
Add to this, you can counter balance the bike to tighten your U turn. This is especially helpful with some of the bigger/heavier/older bikes. I shift half my butt to the outside, keeping myself on top of the bike while leaning the bike in as much as I need to. It takes practice learning to maintain slight rear brake pressure while doing this, but that's what practice is for! With this method, I can easily U turn an 80's goldwing in a single 10' wide parking space!
Second the rear break. For some reason people told me to drag the front brake. It never worked for me. Rear brake however, that worked wonders for me
