Israel and Palestine Politics Discussion

The sole purpose of this community is to discuss Israeli and Palestinian issues. It is not the place for hurling insults, rehashing grudges, or making up history. Any conversation that veers into the "if only your people had" realm will be deleted or locked right away. I started this community in the potentially fruitless hope that we may have a civil conversation about this issue.
Rules:
- References to historical events must include a reputable source. The definition of reputable is up to the mods. Keep that in mind.
- Articles from reputable sources only.
- No name-calling. That's what DMs are for. /s
- Keep it in English. If I don't understand the word, it gets removed. Obvious exceptions would be the use of proper names and references. For example, "wadi" when used to refer to a place is acceptable.
- Discussions that are heading into the probability of becoming a flame war will be locked.
- Repeat offenders will be forced to find another community.
- Anti-Zionism is ok. Anti-Semitism is not.
- Whataboutism is for toddlers. Try to grow up.
- Posting articles about current events is encouraged. Posting the same story from 20 different sources is not.
- Posting an article purely for the purpose of saying "Look what monsters they are" is discouraged unless it can generate an honest discussion. This is probably the most difficult rule to follow.
- No calling anyone a terrorist.
- No YouTube links. Some of us can read.

MODERATORS
What the fuck is this bullshit? Zionist troll....fuck off back under a stone.
I was actually one of the Top 1% commenters on r/palestine, until, out of the blue I was accused of breaking Rule 1, namely threatening violence and hate speech against a threatened minority.
As a result, I am banned for life from reddit, (hence my popping up here).
The post I commented on was about a Palestinian family going out for a meal, and when they returned the israeli army had thrown their possessions out into the street, and moved a bunch of israeli 'settlers' in there.
My comment, which I don't remember making, tbh, was reported by one person, 7 days after the supposed posting.
I appealed to the mods to show me my comment, telling them, as I explained above, that I don't recall any comment - all I got was a link to the original posting with no comments.
Now, the point of this story is to show what the truth is regarding this posting.
IF I'd commented, it would have been criticising the IDF and the 'settlers', as I am 100% pro Palestine.....
So, if r/palestine sub was run by Hamas, etc., why on earth would they chose to give me a life time ban from the whole of reddit?
Personally, I think the sub, along with any other pro palestine subs, is being targeted by zio bots trawling these subs to get the most vocal supporters of Palestine removed, by hook or by crook, from reddit.
It just doesn't make sense. Either that or I'm getting seriously paranoid, (which I'm not, lol!).
