Snopes: A White House official said via email: "Obviously, we did not order officials to wear this pin. If they choose to wear one, it is to show support for the greatest President in history." Brendan Carr, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chair seen in photos wearing the golden Trump lapel pin, had not responded to requests for comment about why he wore the pin at the time of this writing.
Still pretty fucked.
So it's more of a "It would be really nice if everyone could wear a pin" kind of thing.
Kind of like "Oh, won't someone rid me of..."
See, Brian over there is wearing 37 pieces of flair. And a terrific smile.
You know, the Nazis had pieces of flair that they made the Jews wear.
Of course it's not an order. They need to know who is slavish enough to wear it voluntarily.
My personal rule is when there's no source, I don't believe it straight away
