A lot of subs seem to be staying dark (https://lemmy.nz/post/43541), but seems like r/nz will be back at 4pm.

I don't think I'll be going back, although not deleting my account just yet.

Anyone planning on heading back there full time? (no judgement!)

Unfortunately there is a lot of valuable knowledge and information that's been built up over the life of Reddit that is useful so I'll still use it for the wealth of info on even the most niche of topics it has but I probably won't mindless browse r/all for hours on end like I used to. I'll try not to anyway lol.

That should be available via google.

Yeah only a lot of people aren't just deleting their accounts, they're nuking all their comments, which is going to be frustrating for people trying to troubleshoot obscure problems. Hopefully the number of people scrubbing everything stays small even if they delete their profile.

Yeah, I've been starting to think I need to find something else to do with the time I used to spend doing that... it's pretty pointless!

Ditto, I think there’s a lot of us in the same boat. I’m not sure how much was a holdover from lockdown doomscrolling either.^___^
