My cargo van doesn't have windows, but here are my most recent spots in reverse chronological order:

current spot, BLM campsite
outside Alamagordo, NM, BLM
near Holloman AFB; winds kicking up dust from White Sands and blotting out the mountains in the distance. Not sure what kind of federal land this is.
near Las Cruces, NM, national monument

My present location is a bit of an anomaly as it is a somewhat-developed official BLM campsite. Pit toilet, trash cans, and covered picnic tables. What luxuries! It's very quiet, dark skies, and only lightly visited. There are 4-5 sites depending on how you count and only 2 are taken. I won't divulge the location directly but the clueful will be able to suss it out. :-)
