Hey everyone, I'm the original creator of this instance back in July 2023 with the big reddit migration. I lost my password to this instance but have remained a lurker on the site. If anyone wants to follow my current (slow) grow or contribute comments/content, or just lurk with upvotes/down votes please search for microgrowery on sh.itjustworks. Thanks.

How do I do any of that? Lol. I'm affiliated? With aussie-zone instance. How can I follow and post over there?

Hey there, just search "microgrowery" in communities and click on the one that ends with sh.itjustworks and subscribe and you'll follow. And please by all means contribute and post there, would love to have a stable community going.

That assumes a user from their instance has already subscribed there.

!microgrowery@sh.itjust.works

Edit: use this tool to automate it

When you create a new community, it will only be available to your instance. To make it accessible to other instances, at least one user from each remote instance must follow it.

This tool automates this process by following your community from all remote instances until it gains at least one real-user follower.

I just did it for you:

I didn't know about this, should the community be set up correctly for all instances now? If so thank you, I really appreciate it

All instances that participate in the linked tool. That includes most of the major ones but notably not lemmy.world (of course).

Would you happen to have a link or do I need to search? Results aren't giving me much

Try this: !microgrowery@sh.itjust.works

If it doesn't work you may be the first user from your instance to subscribe there. In that case you may need to search "https://sh.itjust.works/c/microgrowery" into your instance's search bar. If that doesn't work it may be fetching in the background. Hitting search once last time should do it.

Then any other user from your instance should be able to find it more easily as initially described.

It worked. I am now a member. Thanks, mate

Ok. Cheers mate. I'll start searching now
