E: refunded Mirror's Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings.
E2: picked up Mirror's Edge on GoG instead for the same price ($3). Disabled PhysX and it runs like a dream.
Were there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror's Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it's knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer's nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror's Edge kills fps
Yes. What do I do about that?
Basically only option right now is to turn off anything physx in older games like mirrors edge. Should solve the fps issue
