I've been purging all my transphobic friends on Steam for this reason, they are cruel and evil people.

Cisbi male here, a large chunk of conservatism is about externalizing your views. When I still used to be conservative, but started to actually take the whole "I don't care who you are" part more seriously, I got booed at and written off as a "communist liberal".
