Literal eugenics. Is there really no point at which guys like this look in mirror ad go “are we the baddies?”
It just sounds like a bunch of basement dwellers lucked out and got rich but nothing else changed.
There's nothing fundamentally wrong with eugenics. Screening for genetic diseases before birth is eugenics, selecting the best embryos for ivf is eugenics. Believing that people with severe genetic disabilities should be counseled before conceiving is eugenics as well.
The issue is the way it's done and the reason for it.
