Its so obvious Reddit is just swarming with bot users. Not sure why most users haven't just come to Lemmy already.
I honestly dont think its complicated. People who cant figure it out or look on YouTube wouldn't probably have great ideas to share. ๐
Fediverse complexity is definitely part of it. But it does keep some of the riff raff out.
there was a post a few years ago, that reddit was about half bot comments, mostly from propaganda sources. reddit has been cracking down on the wrong bots though, going after of accts mostly.
